New Zealand is an English-speaking island and is located
in the Southern Hemisphere, southeast of Australia, west of
the Tasmania Sea and eastern part of Pacific Ocean. New Zealand
consists of two islands; the total area is more or less the
same as England and Japan. Most of the people in New Zealand
are nice, healthy and Independent. New Zealand is a beautiful
place to live in and is multiculturalism. There are tropical

Australians are typically friendly and easy to get along
with. They come from culturally diverse backgrounds that range
from Anglo-Saxon and European cultures through to Asian South
American, African and Middle Eastern cultures. Partly because
of this diverse cultural background, Australians are very
accommodating and tolerant of the culture and customs of visitors
and their fellow Australians. Currently, forty percent of
Australians were either born overseas or have at least one
parent born overseas.

High schools commence in every February and end in December.
There are 4 semesters in a year. Term breaks are in July,
September and October while summer vacation is from December
to January.
Universities commence from February to December every year.
Summer vacation starts in mid December and finishes in mid
February. Most of the universities have 2 semesters.
Colleges commence in February and finish till November every
year. There are 2 semesters each year. The first semester
is from February to June while the second semester starts
in July and ends in November.

Most of the children in New Zealand start their primary
school at 5 and begin their secondary school (Form 3) when
they reach 13. Children can enter high schools (Form 5-7)
during their age of 13-18. Most of the schools are government
school and the rest are private school.
The entry requirements, courses and standard of education
in every high school are similar. Therefore every student
can achieve the same level education.

Tertiary education in New Zealand is divided into universities,
polytechnic and normal colleges. All of them are subsidized
from the government and govern by themselves. Apart from this,
there are some private educational providers have established.
